Mistress Tess in Furs 2

Mistress Tess here exercises her control over her fur coat stand (the commissioner of the portrait) by means of an electric device which communicates with his chastity cage. Of course such a shock could well threaten to topple the heels balancing neatly on the silver trays hanging from his shoulders.
As in the previous commission , Mistress Tess is dressed in furs and, of course, her favoured Louboutin heels.

Portrait of Mistress Ayn

ms_ayn

This commission was originally conceived as a watercolour in the “classic” monochrome look but the subject suggested a bluish tone as if the scene is lit by moonlight.

It is evening.
Mistress Ayn from Atlanta, Georgia  looks out at us, wearing a glamorous tight-fitting dress, as she leads her slave upstairs an old mansion.
The light of the moon floods into the vestibule below.
The night’s pleasures await.

Portrait of “Mistress V”

mistress_v

This commission from a lifestyle couple draws its inspiration from Gothic romance, with its emphasis on horror and the darker aspects of the human imagination. “Mistress V” is a voracious reader of this genre and so she is here depicted as a Byronic heroine playing with a particularly cruel adaptation from the French Revolution.

Her submissive partner who commissioned this writes…

“Mistress V” is the subject of my adoration in a purely private capacity. Some years ago I fell at Her feet to persuade Her to fulfil fantasies by dispensing Her dominatrix gifts. Thankfully She conceded this to me and now this work worships Her in renewed vigour. Sardax has beautifully captured Mistress’ winning and knowing smile in a startling way, at once innocent yet dark in its depths. By converting my vague idea on Her gothic passion into a work of such beauty, you can almost overlook the terror awaiting the bound body as the eye moves across the scene to the wilderness beyond the window …”

Portrait of Mistress Paris

ms_paris_mid

A visit to the chambers of Bedfordshire -based Mistress Paris provided the spark for the theme of this portrait. She told me of her love for the painting and sculpture of Michelangelo and so I developed her portrait from that.

Her chambers are called “The Oubliette” – a word used in castle architecture to denote a secret dungeon with an opening only at the top. So I showed a hand reaching up from this oubliette and Mistress Paris’s right hand reaching down to touch it, like God’s finger touching Adam in the Creation scene of the Sistine Chapel.
Her left hand holds a flayed skin as the artist depicted himself in the Last Judgement. Above hover two angels. The benevolent Angel of the Ecstasy holds a lamp to guide the reaching hand from the oubliette, while the Angel of the Agony smiles down malevolently with whip in hand.

Together they remind us of the “The Agony and the Ecstasy”, the biographical novel written 1961 by American author Irving Stone, and subsequently made into a film.

Portrait of the Alchemical Seductress

Headmistress Shahrazad of the Ritual Chamber in Toronto requested a commission inspired by “The Magician” , a Tarot card of the Major Arcana.

I tried to keep the same pose, as closely as possible, but it had to be adapted to show her dominance and relationship to her slaves so instead of a plain wooden board in front, a naked male forms a human table carrying chalice, collar and whips.
So the traditional roses and lilies were taken from below and run along the sides.
In the background a night-time Toronto skyline in storm, and lightning conducted through her purple “rod” through her body to her left hand.

Portrait of Mistress Elysia

For this pen-and-ink portrait of Scottish Mistress Elysia I leave it to the commissioner to give his own testimonial :-

“I knew pretty early on that serving Mistress Elysia was something very very special, something to treasure and that i had finally found the Mistress i had always dreamt of.

Since meeting her 9 months ago i have discovered what it feels like to be part of a true D/s relationship for the first time in my 19 years as a submissive.

Nothing in my life has ever given me the same feeling that i get from being her devoted slave so when i found out her 30th Birthday was this year i knew i had to get her something special, something one of a kind that that would last forever just like my devotion to her.

Commissioning a piece of art from the incredible Sardax was an easy choice! I was already aware of his work and i knew that being presented with a Sardax drawing was among the most coveted gifts a Mistress could receive. I have never in my life been so excited as i was for the day of my session to arrive, to celebrate Mistress Elysia’s Birthday. I’m fairly certain Mistress loved her portrait as she sat staring at it with a smile on her face for around 15 minutes.

The detail in the drawing is simply amazing, from the first rough draft to the finished portrait was a straight forward process and Sardax was brilliant when it came to adding in a few little details personalised to Mistress Elysia and myself.

I’d like to thank Sardax for helping me make my Mistress’ 30th Birthday a special and memorable one. And most of all i’d like to say thank you to Mistress Elysia for allowing me to be your loyal slave and for the most incredible 9 months of my life.

Mistress Elysia’s devoted slave5.
