A posthumous portrait 2

For this artwork I left it to the commissioner to best describe…

“A posthumous portrait of Australian lifestyle Mistress, Lady Veronica, with her beloved princess.
No greater love had either shared before, their commitment and devotion to each other cemented and witnessed in a ceremony amongst friends, their lifestyle lived amongst friends the world over.
Lady Veronica’s love was often delivered with her whip or cane, guiding her princess to become a better servant, a better girl. Her discipline always represented a deep love for her girl, and was always delivered with a purpose, every lash of her whip carrying a lesson, every stroke of her cane delivering guidance.
Through the looking glass is the Queen’s summer residence, Sandringham, through the grounds of which Lady Veronica and her princess walked and kissed and shared their dream of retiring to an English country cottage, to indulge in their chosen lifestyle amongst friends.
Lady Veronica shall remain in our hearts, “A Glorious and Superior Lady”
