Generally I have to limit the amount of commissioning work now because of my age and health but apart from portraits I do enjoy drawing out fantasies, the weirder the better.
A smoking fetishist I had known for many years presented me with this commission, which was irresistible. He wanted to be held captive in a cabinet, totally encased in leather and only used as an ashtray by prison wardens in uniform.
There are in fact two ashtrays – one attached to the mouth, where he can smell the newly stubbed out ash and another hung from his shoulders , with a hole and tube at the bottom which can serve as an additional punishment.
