The pose for this portrait of Hong Kong and Singapore based Mistress Eva is based on a Chinese Buddhist statue of Guanyin, representing divine compassion.
On a throne supported by loyal slaves and edged by protective slaves to the side, she plays with the hair of her loyal slave-girl who offers her refreshment from a tray.
From a primordial darkness two ghostly admirers float up to adore her feet, while more obscure forms begin to drift upwards attracted by her.
Others float towards her from above warmed by the bright radiance of her aura.
A portrait with this surreal setting gives her the mythic quality she embodies to her slaves and is something a photograph could never capture.
